An Extreme Cold Warning remains in effect for Granbury through 9 a.m. Tuesday. Wind chills may drop as low as 10 degrees below zero. These temperatures can cause frostbite or hypothermia in minutes.
Please check on seniors, those with young children and those without reliable heat. Bring pets indoors.
Limit time outdoors. Dress in layers, including a hat, gloves, and face covering.
The City is actively monitoring the power system and water system. Crews are watching conditions closely and are prepared to respond if issues arise.

These efforts help ensure first responders and medical services can continue operating safely during hazardous conditions.
TxDOT crews are also treating roads they maintain throughout the area. Drivers should remain cautious, especially on bridges and overpasses, and slow down when encountering treatment vehicles.
