[ARCHIVED] TxDOT Pearl Street Project Expect Delays

UPDATED JULY 21 8 a.m.  Expect delays and detours on US 377 at Business 377 (Pearl St.) and the Brazos River bridge Monday and Tuesday (July 21–22) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as TxDOT crews work. Please drive with caution.

ORIGINAL POST  Starting Monday, Nov. 4, TxDOT will begin upgrading traffic signals and later repaving the entire length of Pearl Street (Business 377) through Granbury.

For safety, traffic signal work will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., beginning at the intersection of Pearl and Morgan streets. Once that intersection is complete, crews will upgrade the other Pearl Street signals--at the David Southern Lake Granbury Conference Center and at Loop 567. Brief delays are possible in these areas during the work.

The repaving of Pearl Street will be done in sections from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights. During these hours, flaggers and pilot cars will guide traffic safely through the work zones.

The project is expected to take approximately one year, depending on weather. TxDOT urges drivers to stay alert and follow all posted signs within the work zones to ensure safety for both the crews and the public.
