Granbury, Texas – The Texas Department of Transportation announced today that State Highway 171 east and westbound will be closed west of US 377 Thursday night, Nov. 12 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday morning, weather permitting.
This closure will allow ongoing bridgework construction to be done on the US 377 Cresson Relief Route. Once completed, the Relief Route will be a four-lane divided highway to the west of the US 377/SH 171 intersection.
Signs will be posted for the detour (see attached detour map), and motorists should expect delays during this time.
