[ARCHIVED] Granbury Police Department Welcomes New Police Officer

A new officer is about to hit the road with the Granbury Police Department. At a swearing-in ceremony on October 25, Justin Pugh was formally welcomed to the foOfficerPughSwearIn102517_2rce.

Officer Pugh will graduate from the 29-week course at the Police Training Academy on October 26, and he can then assume the responsibilities as a police officer for the City of Granbury. He will also complete an in-house academy with the Granbury Police Department, as well as 18 weeks of field training.

Officer Pugh, 21, is from White Settlement, Texas. He was previously employed as a jailer at the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office. He is engaged to be married, enjoys being outdoors, and is an avid softball player.
