[ARCHIVED] URGENT Stage 5 Mandatory Water Conservation Conditions

Due to a Water Main break, the City of Granbury is now at Stage 5 Mandatory Water Conservation Conditions. The following activities are affected:

-lawn or landscape watering is not allowed. All outdoor irrigation is prohibited except from a well or water drawn from the Lake,

-using water for washing driveways, sidewalks, buildings, for dust control or gutter flushing is not allowed,

-no washing of cars, boats, trailers, or other vehicles at home. You may use a commercial car wash, but only between 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.,

-no filling or refilling of pools, kiddie pools, spas, or hot tubs,

-ornamental fountains or ponds must be turned off unless they are needed for aquatic life or have a recirculating pump.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we work together to save water and ensure enough supply for essential needs such as fire protection and drinking water.
