In addition to the exceptionally cold weather, a wintry mix is possible across most of North and Central Texas late Sunday and Monday. Even though precipitation rates are expected to be light, any snow/freezing rain that falls will stick due to the cold temperatures.

SCAM Update

Scammers continue targeting Granbury businesses and residents pretending to be the utility company and requesting payments. To reduce the risk of falling victim to fraud:

-Exercise caution when receiving calls urging payment over the phone.

-Immediately hang up and reach out to the City of Granbury Utility Billing Department.

-Avoid sharing personal or bank account information via email or phone.

-Report any suspicious activity to the Granbury Police at 817-573-2648.

-For information regarding your City of Granbury Utility Bill, contact ub@granbury.org, call 682-205-1777 (Option 7), or visit City Hall during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except holidays). 

Stay vigilant and protect yourself from potential scams.
