Granbury Middle School

Early Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 12), eight Granbury Middle School students ate candy that was initially believed to include a narcotic, distributed by a student. Granbury Police and Texas EMS responded. The students were taken to the hospital. All are okay.

An initial test of the candy resulted in a negative result for THC.  Additional testing will follow as the investigation into this situation is ongoing.

Police are working with school authorities to investigate the incident.
